About Prajakta Lonkar

Praj is a registered Physiotherapist with the college of Physiotherapy Alberta. She completed her Bachelors of Physiotherapy from Tilak Maharashtra in India in 2011. Her keen interest in sports and manual therapy led her to New Zealand, where she completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy endorsed in Sports Therapy in 2014. She has since completed her certification in Biomechanical Dry Needling!
Praj has over seven years of experience treating Orthopaedic, musculoskeletal conditions, sports related injuries, overuse injuries, MVAs, and work related injuries.
She believes in educating all her patients on their conditions when she treats them, in order for them to have active participation in their treatment plan and recover faster.
In her spare time, Praj loves to dance and is trained and certified in “Bharatnatyam”, which is an Indian classical dance form! She also enjoys to listen to music, craft, and travel!
